BIG IDEAS At the end of this unit, you will know that: The position and movement of the pelvis directly affects the low back. The knee movers also cross the hip joint and act on it. Pelvic tilt is almost more important that femur movement. The hip is the 2 nd most mobile joint and, therefore, one of the least stable.
