Science All students will be sitting two sets of science exams in the summer Mainstream: Core Science and Additional Science Fast Track: Additional Science and Further Additional Science (They sat their Core Science exams in year 9) Core Science, Additional Science and Further Additional Science exams will consist of: 3 exams (biology, chemistry and physics) all worth 25% each. These, as well as the controlled assessed task, are added together and a final grade is awarded. The Papers: Will be 60 mins long and worth 60 marks (1 mark per minute). Each paper will consist of two 6 mark questions, which must have clear written communication. Revision: Past papers are available at Edexcel online. Core Science are B1, C1 and P1; Additional science are B2, C2 and P2 papers; Further Additional Science are B3, C3 and P3 papers. SAM learning is a brilliant resource to help improve subject knowledge. Lots of revision guides are available to buy, just make sure they cover the Edexcel course We encourage students to ask us questions. We have an open door policy and want to answer revision based questions.
