Yr 7 - Art Easter Competition 2016 You are to decorate an egg to look like a character or an animal! The egg needs to be ‘hard boiled’ before you start to decorate it or you could use a polystyrene egg.

Art Easter Competition Hand your egg into Mr Moore on Wednesday 23 rd March 2016! This competition is only open to year 7 pupils! The winners will be announced on Thursday 24 th March and their names displayed on the art porch door! Any egg not collected by the end of school on Thursday 24 th March will have to be thrown away!!! The Prizes are: 1 st Prize: Chocolate Easter Egg + 25 Reward Points 2 nd Prize: 20 Reward Points 3 rd Prize: 15 Reward Points

Yr 7 - Art Easter Competition How to ‘blow’ an eggHow to Hard boil an egg Step 1: Make a hole in both the top and bottom of the egg. Use a needle to do this with, ask an adult to help you! Finally use a skewer or needle to pierce the yoke. Step 2: Hold the egg over a bowl, carefully blow through the top hole so that the contents of the egg runs out through the bottom hole into the bowl. You can now decorate you egg! Ask an adult to help you to boil a saucepan of water. Once the water is boiling place an egg into the saucepan and leave it for 10 – 15 minutes. Allow the egg to cool before you start to decorate it! …or you could use a craft polystyrene egg!
