What Are Zebra Mussels?  Small freshwater bivalve mollusk  Look like small calms, with a yellow or brownish D- shaped shell  They get their name normal from the pattern of their shell

Where it Stared  Zebra Mussels originated from Russia  Spread through Northern Europe  A positive about Zebra Mussels is that they act like a filter  This makes the lakes and bodies of water affected look prettier, even with that the Zebra Mussels are a pest

Problem  A female can lay more than 100,000 eggs in a year
