Improve or Expand VR Services How will your Tribal VR project improve VR services for tribal members with disabilities who reside on or near your reservation? How will your project build collaborative partnerships that support the strategies and activities of the project?

(b) Significance The Secretary considers the significance of the proposed project, based on the following factors: 1.increase knowledge or understanding of rehabilitation problems, issues or effective strategies. 2.build local capacity to provide, improve, or expand services

Selection Criteria (b) 1 The potential contribution of the proposed project to increase knowledge or understanding of rehabilitation problems, issues or effective strategies.

Increased Knowledge How will your project improve or expand VR services for Native Americans with disabilities who reside on or near the reservation? How will the proposed services and strategies, including traditional, culturally relevant services improve employment outcomes? How will your project increase understanding and knowledge of rehabilitation problems, issues or effective strategies affecting the tribal community?

Importance of your project Explain the significance of having the AIVR project administered on your reservation. Reference, restate information, or redirect reviewers to the Need for Project section.

Selection Criteria (b) 2 The extent to which the proposed project is likely to build local capacity to provide, improve, or expand services that address the needs of the target population.
