Eco Schools Hardy Memorial We created our Eco Code 2.We carried out a simple environmental review to create our focus for the year 3. We planted some daffodils! So what did we do at our first few meetings?

Our Eco School Code We are Hardy, an Eco School We love recycling, we think it’s cool We eat healthy foods no junk here We save our water it is so dear! Saving electricity is our job Solar panels help us save a few bob! We pick up litter and reuse clothes You would like to help us, everybody knows! We look after birds and give them food Hardy are the Eco School dudes!

Litter School environment Energy – to raise awareness of energy conservation 2. We carried out an environmental review and priority areas identified this year by all members are:

CASH FOR CLOBBER – DROP IN CHARITY CASH FOR CLOBBER raised the magnificent sum of £250 as well as providing much need clothes for the charity. Eco Schools Hardy

Our Targets We need to 1.Order new bins to contain the litter 2.Order 2 new litter pickers and ensure ALL classes do their litter duty 3.Improve the wildlife coming to our school. We are going to investigate bird boxes to encourage nesting and make bird feeders 4.Maintain the vegetable and flower beds. We have already planted some daffodils and will be planting vegetables in the New Year 5.Ensure all classes know the Hardy ecocode – to do this we will have a class competition in January. Classes will get a certificate for performing the code to Eco Council REPS!! THANKYOU
