MATHS EVENING YEAR 11 Tuesday 9 th February

RESULTS OF NOVEMBER EXAMINATIONS  Results overall were very pleasing.  70% of pupils in Year 11 have achieved a C Grade.  Current predictions suggest we should exceed 80% A* to C this summer.  With 32% of pupils on track to achieve A* or A.  The total score needed was 120 for a C on the foundation paper. An average of 60% on both papers.  On the higher tier paper pupils needed 58, 89, 120, 151 for a C, B, A and A* respectively.

THINGS IN PLACE TO SUPPORT YOUR SON/DAUGHTER  After school and lunchtime revision available for foundation and higher tier starting after half term. (Please see your packs)  Additional intervention lessons being run.  Revision sessions during Easter and Whitsun half term. Plus Sundays in the run up to the exams.  Weekly past papers being set for homework and item level feedback given for completed papers.
