Marty the Magnet Goes to School By Zachary and Mike Fine

One morning, Marty the Magnet walked to school.

He walked past a little store. All of the soda cans in the store flew out and bonked him on the head.

“Ouch!” cried Marty. “Now I have a headache!”

Marty walked on the sidewalk next to the road. All of the cars swerved towards him.

C R A S H ! “Now I really have a headache,” cried Marty.

Marty finally made it to school. He was late, so he went to the office to get a tardy slip.

All of the paperclips in the office flew towards him and stuck to him.

The papers on the desk flew everywhere.

The principal was upset! She sent Marty to his classroom. Bad magnet!

But it was time for recess. Marty went to play on the playground.

Oh no! Marty stuck to the monkey bars! Help me!

His teacher pulled him off. When school was over, the teacher sent Marty home.

When he got home, his mom asked, “Do you want a snack?” “Yes, please,” Marty the Magnet said politely.

“Go ahead and grab something from the refrigerator,” Marty’s mother said.

Uh oh! Marty flew into the refrigerator and stuck to it! Help me!

Marty’s mom pulled him off of the refrigerator and gave him a snack.

Then she told him to go play in the park, where there was nothing but grass and trees.

He was playing happily until…

All of his friends came to play in the park too…
