Lesson Objectives Understand what the overall task for DTP is Identify the main features used in a poster What impact do certain features on a poster have? How effective are certain posters and why? Identify features you will include in your posters Recap on skills in Microsoft Publisher

Example Posters What stands out the most? What information do you see on most posters? What images are mostly used on promotional movie posters? What colours are used? (bright or dull) Is the use of these colours effective? Which posters do you think is the most effective? Why?

Task You will now spend the lesson recapping on the skills you have learnt in Microsoft Publisher Choose a hobby, something you like (for example, your favourite football team, your favourite TV program) Using Microsoft Publisher, produce a quick leaflet about this hobby
