Also looking at the Doctors costume you can instantly tell that he is a detective type of person because of his suit so anyone looking at this could instantly tell that he is most important in this scene. The expression on the Doctors face shows that he knows what he is doing and the two in the background look confused to what he is trying to do this gives us the idea that he has many crazy ideas for dangerous situations and he always knows what he is doing, Like in this scene he had called the aliens back just so he could make sure that they never return to earth and save the planet. Camera Angles In Doctor who the camera is mainly on the Doctor and most of the time it is a close up this shows that he is the most important character in these series, with the doctors partners the camera is quite often on them but not as much which tells us they are important but just not as much. In the picture on the right hand side it shows the doctor standing tall with the other characters in the background this camera angle shows his importance to this scene because he is the closest to the camera and it shows his whole body head to toe.

Special Effects Special effects are used almost all of the time in Doctor Who in this scene it is important to the realism, it actually makes the viewers believe it is actually there in front of the doctor but in reality it isn’t. Special effects can be really effective especially if they look realistic like the spaceship in this scene, also the hologram that the spaceship projects is also a special effect used in this scene which make us believe this alien ship is real in Doctor who.
