Doler is used just like gustar UUse a clarifying-emphasizing phrase before the IOP to clarify or emphasize who is hurting. A mí (hurts me) A nosotros (hurts us) A ti (hurts you) A él/ A ella/ A usted (hurts him/her/you-formal) A ellos/ A ellas/ A ustedes (hurts them/ you all)

DDoler is an o to ue stem-changer. DDoler has to agree with the body part (singular or plural) UUse duele for singular body parts Me duele la cabeza.My head hurts. UUse duelen for plural body parts Nos duelen los pies.Our feet hurt.

Doler never means that you are hurting someone

My feet hurt. A mí me duelen los pies. His arm hurts. A él le duele el brazo.

Never use the possessive adjective with the body part.

¿Te duelen los ojos? Sí, me duelen los ojos.
