What does “Aragoz” Mean? 1 st definition :..The word Aragoz consists of two parts “Ara” Which means I see “Goz” Means a couple Referring to the two puppets 2 nd definition :..”Kara Goz” two words which are Turkish They mean” Black eye” that refers to the sarcastic philosophy in life and it tends to criticize the persons around him in a comic way and it can help the children learn useful lessons and have fun at the same time.

How does it work? We need a two puppets which is mainly made of plastic A small stainless steel device with a plastic tape around it that the puppeteer talks through it in his mouth and makes a different voice. The puppeteer : he moves the puppets and hides behind a small curtain and talks in a funny way Interlocutor: a person who takes part in a dialogue or conversation.

The needed Materials for making a paper puppet Soft colorful sheets in the size of A 4 sheet Markers with different colors Glue for sticking papers Small stripes of paper with different color that can be used as arms or legs to the puppet

Steps of making a paper Puppet Make a cone with the colorful paper by wrapping it with your hands and stick it with glue. Color the top part of the cone” the smallest part” with the red color Then draw the face Stick two pieces of thin paper in each side in the middle of the cone as two hands Color the rest of the cone the big body” with different colors like a color shirt
