United Nations The united nations was established on the 24 of October in It was founded after the second world war by 51 different country's trying to maintain international piece and security.

There are currently 192 member states from all corners of the globe. Member States can express their views, through the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council and other bodies and committees.

Peacekeeping The UN is most know for its piece keeping soldiers, with there distinctive blue helmets. They are sent to war torn country's to promote peace and democracy.

Refugees Protection The UNHCR established on December 14, 1950 by the United Nations General Assembly. In an effort to aid relief refugees from around the world.
