WORLD WAR ONE We are going to do our presentation on world war one

VIMY RIDGE DDid you know that the Canadians won that battle of Vimy ridge? Guess what the battle at Vimy ridge was April The battle at Vimy ridge was a military engagement fought primarily as a part of the battle of arras, in the Nord-Pas-De-Calais region of France, during the first word war. The main combatants were the Canadian Corps, of four divisions, against three divisions of the German Sixth Army. The battle, which took place from 9 to 12 April , was part of the opening phase of the British –led battle of Arras, a diversionary attack for the French Nivelle Offensive.

 Actually Britain declared war for Canada to fight. Canada felt so loyal to Britain they went to war. WHO DECLARED WAR?

 Actually Canada was after recognized as its own country. Fascinating right before Canada was not recognized as its own country. Britain realized that Canada was strong enough to declare war actually Canada declared war on Germany ww2. WHAT HAPPENED AFTER BRITAIN DECLARED WAR?

CANADIAN IDENTITY The traits shown: before conscription lots of people volunteered but then lots died. Values represented: lots of the soldiers were strong.
