Lesson Objectives 1.All students will be able to explain the 10 areas on which businesses rely on for logistics and the supply chain 2.Most students will be able to apply their learning to real business examples – giving the how and why 3.Some will be able to discuss how the support businesses link in with the main retailer.

Criteria: P2 explain how other businesses support the retail sector What type of information do I require? Where will I get the information from? How should it look? EXPLAIN : Set out in detail the meaning of something, with reasons. More difficult than describing or listing so it can help to give an example to show what you mean. Start by introducing the topic then give the ‘how’ or ‘why’.
