PHILOSOPHY OF TEACHING What is a teacher? I’ll tell you: it isn’t someone who teaches something, but someone who inspires the student to give of his best in order to discover what he already knows. - Paulo Coelho Start brainstorming ideas What are your beliefs about being an educator Strategies to implement/techniques Important for interview

PROFESSIONALISM AT AN INTERVIEW Dress the part Educational terminology Correct documentation Engage in conversation BE PREPARED!

HOW TO DRESS Wear the appropriate professional attire. Teachers are role models to their students. What the teacher wears and how he or she carries him/herself will have a strong impact on the students. Therefore, it is crucial for teachers to use appropriate attire. The way you dress will be the students first impression.

“DRESS HOW YOU WANT TO BE ADDRESSED”---BIANCA FRAZIER
