Fossils Hardened remains of an animal or a plant that lived long ago. We have learned all we know about dinosaurs from their fossils.

Hardened Become solid Some fossils are hardened tracks or footprints left behind by a moving animal.

Scientists People who study things in nature A scientist is someone who studies things in nature.
