Why would God use someone like me?

“Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you.” Jer 1:5 “ For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Eph 2:10

“And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.” Rev 5:13 “ Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God 1 Cor 10:31

“And He (Jesus) is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature Heb1:3 “ And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image 2 Cor 3:18 “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren Romans 8:28,29

the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior…..14 The Lord turned to him and said, "Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian's hand. Am I not sending you?" Judges 6: 12, 14

Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other..serve the Lord enthusiastically.. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 13 When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you.. pray that God will bless them..Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.. never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God.. “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink.. Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good. Romans 12: 9-21

WHO DOES GOD MOST OFTEN USE? GOD USES THE INSECURE. Moses said to the LORD, "O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue." Ex. 4:10 GET SOME GODFIDENCE The LORD said to (Moses), "Who gave man his mouth?... Is it not I, the LORD? 12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say." Ex 4:11-12

WHO DOES GOD MOST OFTEN USE? GOD USES THE UNLIKELY. …Samuel saw Eliab and thought, "Surely the LORD's anointed stands here before the LORD." 7 But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:6-7

WHO DOES GOD MOST OFTEN USE? GOD USES THE BROKEN. Peter replied, "Man, I don't know what you're talking about!" Just as he was speaking, the rooster crowed. 61 The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him: "Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times." 62 And he went outside and wept bitterly. Luke 22:60-62

WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO DO THROUGH YOU? YOU HAVE TO STEP OUT TO FIND OUT. Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water.” 29 "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. Matthew 14:28- 29

OBEDIENCE I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. John 17:4 So that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me John 14: 31

HUMILITY Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name Phil 2 : 5
