G EOGRAPHY 1 Absolute/relative location: Pakistan is located at 65 degrees east and 30 degrees north. Relative location: Pakistan is in Asia. Physical place: Pakistan is about the same size as Texas and Oklahoma combined. In the North there are some of the highest mountains. Pakistan is mostly flat. The rainy season is July and August: The Indus river floods a lot.

G EOGRAPHY 2 Movement: When your not in the city horse-drawn carts are common ways of getting around. Roads aren’t paved. People use cars, buses, and rickshas. Cars drive on the left side of the road instead of the right. This is a map of Pakistan

H ISTORY 1 Arab traders and Islam: In the early eighth century Arab traders came to Pakistan and brought things to buy and sell, and at the same time brought Islam to the country. Many people were Hindu but some still converted to Islam. In the 1600’s a Muslim Kindom called the Moghal Dynasty took over Pakistan and India. This is the Moghul Dynasty
