3. Victor An is a Russian short track speed skating athlete of South Korea descent. After competing for South Korea since childhood, in 2011 he became a Russian citizen and now races for the Russian team.

5. An had moved to Russia in 2011 and became one of the heroes of 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, where he won the bronze medal in the 1500m. An then won the first Russian gold medal in short track, winning the 1000m, Vladimir Grigorev winning silver.

9. Wild won a bronze medal in the parallel giant slalom at the World Championships and gold medals in the parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom at 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, which made him the first snowboarder ever to win two medals at the same Winter Games.

11. Instead of ending his career, Wild decided to leave the country; when he married Russian snowboarder Alena Zavarzina in 2011, Wild applied for Russian citizenship.
