1 Help Document on how to configure exam setup, marks entry, report generation Steps to be Followed 1.Attach Examination Setup Master in Academic Template (Path: CMS-Settings-Academics-Academic Template) 2. Map Exam Tree to academic batch (Path: CMS-Academics-Academic Batch) 3. Map Faculty to exam and subject to capture the score through self service (Path: CMS-Exam & Grading-Settings-Faculty Exam Mapping) 4. Capture score through self service (Path: Self Service-Default Quick Links-CMS-Faculty Exam & Grading-Capture Score) 5. Generate Progress Report and other reports related to Exam Grading (Path: Reports-CMS-Exam & Grading-Student Progress Reports)

2 Go to Academic Template(CMS-Settings-Academics-Academic Template)

3 Search your academic template and click on edit(Exa: Select BE ECE 2012-16 and click on edit)

4 After click on edit, go to subject group header and select the examination setup master against the respective semester(Exa: selct ug_subject in Examination setup master against Semester III and click on save

5 Go to Academic Batch, search your batch and click on edit(Path: CMS- Academics-Academic Batch), Exa: Select BE ECE 2012-16 and click on edit

6 Click on Exam Tree Mapping for the respective semester(Exa: Click on Exam Tree against semester III for BE ECE 2012-16 Batch

7 Select the exam tree and exam setup from the look up and click on save and than click on the next 3 options to sync the exam rule synchronization

8 After synch. All the exam tree and rules will be configured for this batch

9 If any subjects are not applicable for the particular exam than select the subject and click on remove row, Exa: if Lab subjects are not required for internal 1 than select the two lab subjects and click on remove row, means this subjects are not required to enter marks

10 Go to Faculty Exam Mapping and click on create(Path: CMS- Exam & Grading-Settings-Faculty Exam Mapping

11 Enter the header details and click save, Now select all the subjects by clicking add row, Exa: ECE 3 rd Sem, Site: JSSAT, Batch: BE ECE 2012-16, Academic Session: Semester III. Enter the below details as Click on All Exam, select all the subjects, select section and save, Click on map faculty to go to another tab for faculty mapping

12 Click on the Exam Class.. Tab or to map the faculty, Exa: Selection Section 3-1 and select faculty from faculty from activity subject mapping and click on save

13 Go to self service to capture score/enter marks, Click on the “W” to get this window, Note: Each faculty has to capture score from here only

14 Click on Quick Links to get capture score link

15 Click on Default Quicklinks and click on Campus Management Solution- Capture Score under Faculty Exam and Grading

16 Select the exam node, faculty will get their respective subjects only here as per faculty exam mapping to capture the marks. Exa: Click on Internal 1 and the respective subject will show, click on capture to enter the marks or you can click on download to get the list of students in excel and after entering the marks upload it,

17 Click on capture, this screen will come to capture the marks for all the students one by one and click on save. Note: List of students will flow from subject enrollment screen

18 After entering the marks the color of the subject will change to Green

19 Go to Reports

20 Select the application as Campus Management Solution-Select the module as Exam and Grading and click on student progress report

21 Enter all the mandatory fields and the required details to get the report, Exa: Select site as JSS Academy..,Batch: MBA 2012-14, Session-Semester III, Exam Tree- Internal 1, Report Type-Capture score, From Date-1 st Aug 2013 to 13 th Sep 2013 and report type as PDF and click on generate report

22 Progress Report will come in a printable A4 format
