7 INFORMATION FOR SCIENCE CLASS REGISTRATION  BIO 265, SCI 265, and ESCI 265  You must register for the Lecture (3-4 cr) ~AND ~  You must register for the Lab (0 cr) ** Submit both CRN #s at the same time

8 READING MINOR  It is easy to add a reading minor with the following courses:  EDRD 314 (required for EDEL major)  EDRD 319  EDRD 340 (2.50 cumulative GPA or contact professor)  EDRD 410 (option - language arts concentration; 2.75 cumulative GPA or contact professor)  EDRD 411 (prerequisite – grade of ‘B’ or higher in EDRD 410)  One of the following:  COMM 223  COMM 350  Check with Financial Aid when adding a minor

9 WHERE ARE YOUR CLASSES LOCATED?  Check carefully for the location of your classes  To ensure your classes are at UNC…  Classes should be UNC building with a room number  DO NOT register for any class with:  LOWR, LOV or COSP as the location  DIST = Extended Studies  Additional tuition cost

13 SUMMER REGISTRATION 2016  Summer Registration  Registration opens on April 4 th  No PIN required  Most classes are offered in 6 week semesters  Please balance this carefully with your summer plans

14 BE A VOLUNTEER ! TEACHER EMPLOYMENT DAYS  Teacher Employment Days (TED) April 7 & 8  More than 100 school districts from approximately 14 states will be represented  First-hand opportunity to observe the process of teacher candidate interviews  Volunteers are needed in numerous areas:  Greeting  Refreshments  Directions/information * Details will be sent via the Listserv
