12 3 Cases of Pronouns Subjective case: pronouns used as subject.  I watched the last football game of the season.  She made her mother dinner on Friday Objective case: pronouns used as objects of verbs. (Pronouns that come AFTER the verb).  Tommy gave him a high-five.  The teacher told them to be quiet. Possessive case: pronouns which express ownership.  My dad owns four guitars.  Kyle gave his baby sister a big kiss on the cheek.
