14 YOUR COMMITMENT AS A STUDENT  You must achieve a 95% attendance rate at school for the full 2 years of the course.  You must also be present at a minimum of 95% of all football activities whether they be in or out of curriculum time.  After School games and sessions are compulsory and part of the course; part time work and club football commitments need to be managed around the course.  To purchase the full training / match day kit which will cost approximately £175.  It is your responsibility to get yourself to and from the School. In some cases we may be able to help in terms of Train and Bus Passes and arranging Housing Benefit so that you can go into digs. However this shouldn’t be relied on and even with these contributions there will be a travel cost. You should discuss this individually with Stuart if you are accepted onto the Elite Programme.  You must conduct yourself Professionally in all aspects of the course at all times. Dress, conduct, manners, language you know the rest.  To agree to a sign the Programmes Code of Conduct and Social Networking Policy.  Poor Academic Standards will not be tolerated; POOR ACADEMIC PROGRESS = NO FOOTBALL

15 IN CONCLUSION  We have to emphasise that there is no guarantee of a place on the Elite Football Programme.  There are a limited number of places available and the final decision will be made after we: 1.Access you progress as a footballer. 2.Decide whether your Academic Grades are of a good enough standard to ensure that you will pass your ‘A’ Levels Ultimately the available places will be allocated to the best players with the best grades. You may be the next Wayne Rooney but we will not give you a place if you do not believe you will pass all your ‘A’ Levels.
