3 N UMERACY - D EFINITION Numeracy= the ability to reason and to apply simple numerical concepts, e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. A numerically literate person can manage and respond to the mathematical demands of lifeliterate Applied in the context of the Lifelong Learning Sector (not the same as Mathematics)

4 ICT - D EFINITION ICT – Information and Communication Technology or Technologies ICT is an umbrella term that includes any communication device or application, encompassing: radio, television, mobile phones, computer, Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) and network hardware and software, satellite systems and so on, as well as the various services and applications associated with them, such as videoconferencing and distance learning.
