Person A Welcome 1.aboard Flight 208 to Hong Kong. Please follow our safety 2.demonstration. When the seatbelt sign 3.illuminates, you must 4.fasten your seat belt. Insert the 5 metal fittings one into the other, and 6.tighten by pulling on the 7 loose end of the strap. To 8 release your seat belt, lift the upper part of the 9 buckle. We suggest that you keep your seat belt fastened 10.throughout the flight, as we may experience 11.turbulence. There are several emergency exits on this aircraft. If we need to 12 evacuate the aircraft, floor-level lighting will guide you towards the exit. Each door is 13.equipped with an 14. inflatable slide. In the event of an 15.oxygen failure, an oxygen mask will 16.automatically drop from a 17.compartment 18. above your seat. To start the flow of oxygen, pull the mask towards you. Place it firmly over your nose and mouth, secure the elastic band behind your head, and breathe normally. If you are 19. traveling with a child, who 20.requires assistance, secure your own mask first. Person B In the event of an 21.emergency, please assume the 22. brace position. A life vest is located in a 23.pouch under your seat. Open the plastic pouch and 24.remove the vest. Slip it over your head. Pass the 25.straps around your waist and 26. adjust at the front. To 27.inflate the vest, pull firmly on the red cord. The following 28.electronic devices may be used when the seat belt sign is off, or when 29.permitted by your crew. 30.Mobile telephones, MP-3’s, or any electronic device 31.operating with an 32.antenna must be turned off at all times. Headphones will be 33.distributed as part of our in-flight 34.entertainment service. We 35. remind you that this is a non-smoking flight. Smoking on this flight is strictly 36.prohibited.
