10 CONFLICTING MOTIVATIONS Turn to page 268 and fill in the chart over Antigone and Creon. Then draft a statement about how the conflict conveys a theme related to justice. Answer= The conflict between Antigone and Creon conveys the theme that sometimes society’s laws can be in opposition to one’s conscience or religious beliefs.
