1. Albany ePAY onLINE for Introducing the facility to make Bacs payments directly from within your accounting application… …the easy and efficient way!

2. Having completed the registration process with Albany and downloaded Albany ePAY onLINE, you will now have access to the following functionality… It will also indicate when a file has already been submitted with a green tick, thereby avoiding the same file being processed again. This initial table is pulling data held within FinancialForce and clearly lists the files ready for payment. Once you have reconciled these payments as paid in FinancialForce, the information will disappear from this table. To continue select a file and click ‘Submit Payments’

3. Having selected the file you wish to process and clicking ‘Submit Payments’ you will instigate the processing of the file. A pop-up box appears enabling you to confirm that the Payment Method and Payment Date are correct. Click ‘Validate’ to continue to the next stage

4. At this stage each account number and sort code within the file is being verified. Any warnings or errors will be displayed at a later stage. The validation process is very quick and increases dependent on number of transactions within the file. A progress bar appears showing you that the transactions are in the process of being validated.

5. In this instance the file has successfully validated with no warnings or errors. At this point, you are presented with a summary file showing the Payment Method, Payment Date, No. of Transactions and Total Value.. It is important to check these details are accurate and click ‘Submit’ to continue

6. Regardless of these warnings you may still choose to submit. Click ‘Submit’ to continue You may, however receive validation warnings or errors, in which case the following screen will be displayed. You are provided with the opportunity to view warning details

7. Unfortunately it will not be possible to progress further with this submission and errors will need to be corrected in order to resubmit. If, however the file could not be processed with such errors, this screen will be displayed.
