Departure  Refer to the Grad Bash Dress Code, inappropriate attire can cause you to lose hours of time in the park!  Plan on the possibility of cold weather. A sweater or light coat might be a good idea. Also, bring a poncho if you have one, rain is ALWAYS possible.  No water bottles and/or snacks allowed in the park.  Universal has a NO-SMOKING POLICY during Grad Bash. Don’t bring cigarettes, e-cigarettes, over the counter medication, or illegal substances.  Start heading towards the exit at 1:30 AM. Takes a while.  Late arrivals may result in disciplinary consequences at school.

Bus Behavior  Follow chaperone and bus driver instructions at all times.  No portable speakers for music. Must Bring headphones to listen to your own music.  Not responsible for items left on the bus.  Students must be cooperative with both the adult and student chaperones, especially while taking attendance.  No Food or Drinks allowed on bus.  Bring age appropriate movies for the ride.

Food and Drinks  NO FOOD OR DRINKS allowed on the buses.  Eat before you get on the buses. You will ALL have first lunch on the day Grad Bash.  We will stop at a service plaza (most likely Ft. Drum), but it may vary depending on traffic.  It is advisable that you bring change for the machines, as the lines do get very long and you only have 30 minutes.

Medications  Prescription medications are the ONLY medicines allowed into Grad Bash.  Those needing prescription medicines must bring in a note on your physician’s stationary by March 25, 2016 to Mrs. Valero’s designee. Any medication must be checked in upon entering Universal.  Over the counter medication will be confiscated. This includes bronchial inhalers.  Anyone with Diabetic needs must include note on field trip form signed separately by parent in order to bring food on bus.  Expect a drug dog search before entering the bus!

It will be given to you as you get off bus.  Get map when you arrive.  SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED!!!  Take note of where you need to exit at the end of the night. Last year we exited from The Hulk… it may be different!  Ride the popular rides first: ex. Rip Ride Rocket and Harry Potter.

Important Reminders  Wait until late in the evening to buy large souvenirs. Rest stops do not have “official gear”.  Undercover officers are located throughout the park.  Tickets are not refundable…no exceptions!!! This includes violations of code of conduct or attendance contracts. This trip is a reward, NOT A RIGHT!  Bring exact amount of $140 in cash or money order. NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.  Don’t sell tickets…they will be absolutely worthless.  On Jan 27 & 28, be on time for sales! For buses:  Have the full sheet filled out with everyone’s name and ID number listed.  Each bus assignment must have the name of two suggestions for Student Chaperones. These students will have a meeting prior to Grad Bash.  Fast Pass (for United Way) being sold during lunch on the 26th  Fast Pass (for The Quest) go to the front of the line on your assigned date of sale.

Lastly…  Be smart! Remember: You are on a school field trip… that comes with consequences for bad behavior!  Don’t like the rules? Don’t go!  Tickets may sell out, and once they’re gone… they’re GONE!  But of course, be ready for an amazing night!
