4 Rules NO BACKPACKS!! No matter the size! Purses can be no larger than a half sheet of paper Snacks can be brought in a clear, plastic ziplock bag NO open liquid containers prior to boarding the bus NO Medications! Unless you have administrative approval and medical form on file All personal belongings will be subject to search by school personnel and/or appropriate authorities at any time while on the trip

5 Rules NO Blankets! May bring a jacket All electronic devices such as cell phones, iPods, personal game systems, etc. must have a headphone attachment for individual use May bring PG-13 movies Dress code will be STRICTLY ENFORCED…if you must ask if it’s appropriate then DON’T wear it!

6 Rules Any item that is brought on the trip, is the SOLE responsibility of the student. Somerset Academy and/or the bus company are NOT responsible for the loss or theft of any item Bring enough money for: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, snacks and any souvenirs (min. $50) Be aware if you get into any trouble while on the trip, your parents will be immediately contacted and will have to pick you up from Grad Bash. You will also have severe consequences at school!

7 Dress Code: Girls Dresses, skirts capris or shorts to be no shorter than mid-thigh Casual pants (jeans, dress pants) Casual blouses and tops with sleeves at least 3 inches wide Comfortable shoes (sneakers, dress sandals, boots) Purses no larger than 8.5” x 5.5” (size of a half-sheet of paper) Cell phones and cameras (no camera bags)

8 Dress Code: Guys Casual pants or shorts (including khakis and jeans) secured at the waist Shirts with sleeves (polo shirts, dress shirts, t-shirts) Comfortable shoes (sneakers, dress shoes, boots) Cell phones and cameras (no camera bags)

9 Not Acceptable! Clothing affiliated with any school, sports team, group, club, similar looking shirts, etc. (ex: letterman jackets, clothing with school logos, etc.) Gang paraphernalia, jewelry, tattoos, clothing or other insignias of any kind Clothing or accessories with area codes Flip-Flops Visible undergarments Clothing with visible tears, holes, and shredding Belts, wallet chains, or jewelry of any kind containing spikes Extremely revealing clothing including: bathing suit tops, bottoms, or see-through clothing of any kind Any clothing deemed inappropriate at a school function Guys may not wear tank tops or undershirts

Clothing with language or graphics that are obscene, offensive or suggestive of sexual, vulgar, drug, alcohol, or tobacco-related messaging Hats and other head attire Guys and girls may not wear basketball shorts of any kind Girls may not wear tube tops, tube top dresses, one-shoulder shirts or any off the shoulder dresses of any kind All backpacks, briefcases, hip packs, camera bags, tote bags, and oversized purses larger than 8.5" x 5.5" Weapons, knives, laser pointers, and chemical irritants of any kind Over-the-counter medications; tobacco or tobacco related products such as lighters, matches, pipes, hooka pens, etc.; and alcohol or any controlled substance Any containers with fluids of any kind; this includes water, any drinks and perfumes Aerosol cans/bottles of any type

13 Grad Bash Reminders Must come dressed to school in GRAD BASH attire! NO Exceptions! If you are not dressed appropriately, you will NOT go on the bus! Bring money for food and souvenirs (at least $50) Must maintain the bus clean at all times! You are allowed to bring snacks in clear, plastic ziplock bags. All liquids must be in sealed containers prior to inspection…if opened it will be thrown out! Seniors…stay classy! You are representing Somerset Academy!

14 Important Dates Senior Finals: May 1- 15 th AP Exams: May 4 -15 th Textbooks must be returned by May 13 th Senior Grades Due: May 18 th Senior Uniform Swap: May 18 th (Bring your gently used uniforms) Senior Day: May 20th Senior Breakfast – 7:30am * Gym Graduation Practice 10:00am – Noon * War Memorial Auditorium Senior Lunch – 1:00pm * Gym Senior Cap/Gown Distribution: May 21 st All financial obligations must be paid in full! Senior Last Day: May 22 nd

15 Senior Night Friday, May 15 th 6:00pm Gym Attire: Semi-Formal Everyone is invited but special invitations to those seniors that will receive awards

16 Senior Prom Senior Prom: “Bollywood Bash” Friday, May 22nd 7:30 pm - Midnight Signature Grand $100 ticket (student or guest) Must be bring ID to Prom Last Day to buy Prom ticket: May 8 th Outside guest may not be over 21 years old Outside guest must complete Guest Application Prom Court Nominations Available on May 11 th

17 Senior Graduation Class of 2015 Commencement Ceremony Friday, June 5 th War Memorial Auditorium 10:00am (graduation begins) 9:15am (graduates report to venue) All graduates will receive 4 complimentary tickets Graduates can buy up to 2 additional tickets at $5 each (CASH ONLY) Extra tickets will be sold from May 1 – 22. After May 26, any unpurchased tickets will be sold to the general public until sold out All graduation regalia including cap, gown, stoles, cords, medals are the sole responsibility of the graduate. The school will not have additional items at graduation. Attire: Girls – knee-length dresses preferred, dark colored shoes/heels (3” heels or less) Boys – dress shirt, tie, dress pants (NO JEANS), dress shoes NO DECORATIONS ON CAP/GOWNS ALLOWED!
