The New York Interagency Engineering Council (NYIEC) is a non- profit organization of Public City, State, Regional and Federal Agencies and Public Utilities Membership is Open to all Public Agencies and Public Utilities There are currently sixteen (16) Member Organizations and We Are Actively Seeking to Expand Our Membership in the New York City Area NYIEC: WHO WE ARE NYIEC - NEW YORK INTERAGENCY ENGINEERING COUNCIL

Current Member Organizations: Regional Agencies and Public Utilities: Con Edison Port Authority of New York & New Jersey We are Actively Recruiting to Expand our Membership of Public Agencies and Public Utilities, so Referrals are Encouraged & Welcomed Engineers and Architects from Private Sector Companies are welcomed each year to our Annual Technical Conference. We are a group of Leading Engineering & Architectural Professionals representing Public City, State & Federal Agencies and Authorities and Public Utilities Each Member Organization appoints a Delegate to the Council to conduct business and plan NYIEC programs & events throughout the year. One or more Alternate Delegates are appointed from each Member Organization, to participate and vote on NYIEC business and programming decisions if the Delegate can not be in attendance NYIEC: WHO WE ARE NYIEC - NEW YORK INTERAGENCY ENGINEERING COUNCIL

Our Primary Mission: Promote interaction and cooperation between Public Agencies & Public Utility Organizations Share/Exchange information of Common Interest Promote Best Practices & Standards Keep Abreast of Innovations In Engineering and Construction Address Public Matters of Engineering and Design Concern Develop an Increased awareness of the Importance of Engineering & Design among Public, Elected Public Officials, Community Leaders and Others Serve as a Resource to the Above Groups NYIEC MISSION NYIEC - NEW YORK INTERAGENCY ENGINEERING COUNCIL
