(4marks) Discuss = Write about Exercise = Doing something physical Short term = Happens straight away (4marks) = 4 points needed What are the short term effects of exercise? What happens to your body when you exercise?

3 Answers…. How many marks would you give this answer? …During the onset of sub maximal exercise your heart rate increases because your body is moving more and this means you have to try harder when your playing sport. This means your team will do really well and hopefully win the game….. 1 mark for saying heart rate increases.

4 Answers…. How many marks would you give this answer? …..Your body responds in several different ways during the onset of sub maximal exercise. Your heart rate will increase which means your stroke volume and cardiac output will also increase. Your respiratory rate will also increase to supply your muscles with more oxygen…. 4 marks for saying increase in heart rate, cardiac output, stroke volume and respiratory rate.
