17 Dual Credit Program (via Co-op) **Connected with Local Colleges**  Earn College credits AND finish high school AT THE SAME TIME  Attend college classes, 1-2 days/week  Many different options (i.e. ECE, or Electical or Plumbing)  Provided at Central Peel through the co-op program (*must select co-op 4 credit program)  Co-op teachers can provide detailed information

19 Things to Think About  With ‘Full Disclosure’, Universities and Colleges will receive all of your grade 11 course marks.  Ensure you will have all compulsory requirements done (including Group 1, 2, and 3).  Two grade 11 Phys. Ed. at the ‘open level’ are permitted but are not considered for entrance to University or College as they are ‘O’ level ***additionally you may want to consider the Leadership Course that is a Phys. Ed College Level credit PLF 4C0

20 Myths Corrected  Universities DO NOT CARE whether you have extra college, open or workplace credits on your record – only that you have a minimum of 6 grade 12 U or M courses  RESEARCH pre-requisites for university/college: many programs DO NOT require grade 12 math

21 Course Selection Process ONLINE – choose courses through your High School Planner on myblueprint.ca/peel OR the BYOD page START PLANNING NOW and SUBMIT ONCE YOU ARE SURE OF YOUR COURSES!!! The online site for course selection will open from Jan 6 – Jan 20 only!!

22 DO NOT click the Submit button unless you are absolutely sure about the courses you have chosen Ready to submit? Between Jan 6 – Jan 30, click Submit Courses and follow the instructions When your courses have been submitted, you will be “locked out” and unable to make changes Course Selection Process
