3. What is the EI App?
The EI App is an application developed by Theracare for smart devices to allow our clinicians to provide sessions electronically. Electronic sessions are transmitted to TC once the session note turns “green”.
Our smart application was developed and designed to maximize our providers on the field and to eliminate common factors that contribute to time wasted and returned billing.
No internet needed. Works offline. Just sync once in the morning and once at night to ensure your app is up to date and all your sessions have been transmitted.

You can print and save your sessions by logging into Theracare.com with your mypay (FFS/IND) or citrix (Salaried) account. No need to make manual copies ever again.

6. Video Tutorials

7. Compliance
Providers are required to sign their notes contemporaneously or as close as possible to the session. Even if the parent/guardian is unavailable to sign the note at the session- you are still required to enter and sign the session note.
The application has a date and time stamp for signatures. If you sign your note more than 2 days after the session date, in accordance with the TheraCare policy that has been distributed to you we will be unable to process your session. Please make sure you are completing and signing your notes on the date the session is performed even if the parent/guardian is unavailable to sign. It is the expectation of TheraCare and our regulators at the NYC DOHMH that sessions are documented and signed by both the provider and parent on the date of the session. There should be very few instances where the date of the provider or parent signature does not match the date of the session.

9. App FAQ Q. Can I go back and edit a session note?
A. You are allowed to edit a session as long as it is in draft mode (yellow dot). This means the note does not have parent signature. You can not edit a note that has been signed by parent and yourself. These notes have been time stamped and transmitted (green dot). In this circumstance note must be deleted, completed anew, and resigned by all parties.

10. App FAQ Q. Who is considered a caregiver/guardian?
A. That is whomever is present with the child during session. (babysitter, teacher, neighbor, etc.)
