6. During the Holocaust all Jews had a source of identification usually most had a stamp or a sewed patch that read “Jude” which means Jew in German. The patch was usually a gold Star of David with black outlining that read Jude and was sewed on to the striped pajamas or ones jacket or coat. Also the Jews in concentration camps would not be called by a named but stamped by scorching hot news paper print numbers that were in ink previously that burned the skin to leave an imprint on the arm.
