1 1. Login to NIPOST Website ( www.nipost.gov.ng ) 2. On the NIPOST Website, look for Post office box registration where you see ONLINE TOOLS, Then click on it. (see direction from the arrow in red) 3. When you do the number two (No. 2) step, it will take you to the next page.www.nipost.gov.ng

2 On the page you will see some link by the left hand side under the heading Post letter box. 1. Instruction for registration: this is the link that gives the customer all the direction on registration. 2. Apply for Letter Box : this is the link that opens up the post office box registration form. 3. Track Letter Box Payment status: used by the customer to track status of box payment and allocation 4. Pay letter Box bill: it is used by the customer to print his or bill online without having to come to the post office for the bill, this link can also enable the customer to make payment online independently without coming to post. Although the feature of online payment is not yet approved by the NIPOST management for now. The bills can be printed and taken to the post for payment. Lets click on number 2 (apply for letter Box) see the arrow direction. N0. 2 will take us to the next page

4 This page is customers to Register for a new post office box, private, business or Private Mail Bag (PMB) 1. Type the name of the post you wish to get a box in the first box (start typing to get a list post office(s) & select from list) the customer can use post code also to search for the post office. 2. Select the Box type ( Private or Business or PMB) Anyone you select will display the form out. 3. A box with Check availability will appear. Next page

5 Check availability is a concept that will help the customer to know if there are boxes available in that post office he desire a box from. 1. click on the check availability and the application will display the total number of boxes that available in that post office NOTE: the price list column, we have three type of zone in post office box; namely Zone A, Zone B and Special Zone. This simply means that your post office falls under a articular Zone. If you take a good look at the price list, Box annual Rental, you will discover that N100.00 is included in the fee irrespective of the Zone. This 100 is the technology for swglobal plc. ID Card is same for every Zone, Same with Key Deposit. There is an introduction of SMS, the fee is also to be deposited in the swglobal ‘s account. SMS is same for all zone

6 A look at anther Zone Price List, the previous one was for Special Zone, while this one is the one for Zone A. lets move on, 1. click on check Availability ( result can be seen in the next page

7 When you click on check availability just you did in the previous page, a confirmation box will appear showing you the total numbers of available boxes in that post office you chose. The 400 you are seeing is not a box number but the total number of available boxes. 1. Click on Yes if you want to apply for a box (see arrow direction ) and go to next page to see the result of the yes you clicked

8 This is the Box form (please remember that this is the customers responsibility, not yours) 1. Complete the form with valid information and a valid passport, then submit. ( private box will require any of the approved national identity, business and PMB will require certificate of incorporation.

10 He submit your Details you click on in the previous page, brought out this confirmation box 1. click yes

11 After you have clicked on yes in the confirmation page, this payment information page will appear with a popup of the acknowledgement print out, with an option to print automatically, but in case the page did not popup, do not worry, just click on Print acknowledgement slip. 1. click on Print Acknowledgement slip and print it out

12 This is the copy of the acknowledgement slip. 1. The customer will bring a print out of this slip with two passport photograph and a photocopy of any National ID CARD for private box and a Referee completed form where National ID CARD is not available (this is subject to review by your territory) 2. acknowledgement slip with two passport photograph with photocopy of certificate of incorporation for Business box and PMB 3.the ID Card form will be given to the customer when he comes with the acknowledgement and he or she can complete the form right there before a box can be allocated for him or her. 4. in our next release, the customer will be able to download ID CARD form online, we also hope that online payment will be approved by NIPOST management soonest. 5. Lets take this slip to the counter for onward processing
