2. INTRODUCTION There are three options for posting stories: A simple text only story with no pictures, A story and a small number of pictures, A story with a gallery of pictures.

3. POSTING A STORY These core instructions apply to all three options Open Wordpress and log in Navigate to posts>add new. Adjust settings for the post. Enter the title of your story Enter the text for your story Select a category for your story - this is essential Publish your story

6. 1 - POSTING A SIMPLE STORY Navigate to: Posts>Add New

7. 1 - POSTING A SIMPLE STORY When the page opens, scroll down to Single Page Options.

8. 1 - POSTING A SIMPLE STORY Adjust the settings to those shown opposite.

11. 1 - POSTING A SIMPLE STORY...and then set the categories for your post. Select Becconsall U3A news, Group activities and your group title as shown here.

12. 1 - POSTING A SIMPLE STORY To finish, click Publish and your story is complete. If you have set your category, the post will appear on the home and group pages.

13. 1 - POSTING A SIMPLE STORY Preview your post to see that it is correct.

14. 2 - POSTING A STORY WITH A PICTURE

15. Create your post as for a simple story. Then, click the Add Media button to import your picture.

16. 2 - POSTING A STORY WITH A PICTURE The media library will open. Either import an image from your PC - Upload Files - or select an image from the library.

18. Click publish to complete your post.

20. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY

21. The production procedure here is slightly different. It is advisable to load the pictures for your gallery first and then create your post as per options 1 and 2. You can create as many galleries as you wish. You can also edit the content in your galleries and add or remove pictures. It is very flexible. You can also add your gallery to more than one post if you want to.

22. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY Navigate to Final Tiles Gallery and click Add New Give your gallery a title.

23. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY Follow the onscreen instructions and set Media Library as the source of the images.

25. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY Click ADD IMAGES to load pictures from your PC.

26. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY When you do, the media library upload panel will appear. Either drop files into the box or click Select Files.

27. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY Navigate to your pictures on your PC, select all the files you want to use and import them - either as single images or as a set.

28. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY When your pictures have been imported, select the pictures you would like to use in your gallery.

29. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY The final tiles gallery will then open. Open the Links & Lightbox panel.

30. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY Set Lightbox & Links to FancyBox and then click the green save button at the bottom right of the page.

31. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY Then open the Images panel at the bottom of the page and here you will see the images you have imported.

32. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY All of the images are set to display at the same size - 150 x 150 pixels. Click Edit on some of the images to change the picture sizes.

33. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY When you click Edit, this box will open. Select a size for your image.

34. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY Click the save button at the bottom right when you have set all the sizes for your pictures. Then copy the shortcode at the top of the page.

35. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY Create your post as per option 1 and then paste the gallery shortcode you copied into the page at the bottom of the story.

36. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY Preview your post and you will then see your gallery. The different picture sizes you selected create this mosaic effect.

37. 3 - POSTING A STORY WITH A GALLERY Click on a picture and it will expand to show the picture at full size. You can add or remove pictures from your gallery as you wish.
