Rs.23.24 lakh was released for the construction of 10 kitchen sheds for 111 institutions. 2. 7 kitchen sheds have been constructed. as on 31.12.10

23 Best Practices 1. Feedback from the students is taken on the performa devised by the department to redress complaints of the students and improve quality of the MDM. 2. Mechanized transportation has been introduced to ensure timely delivery of meals in Schools. 3. Retired/experienced persons have been engaged to monitor/supervise the quality, quantity and hygiene of MDM. 4. They also check the delivery of the same in the schools and obtain feedback from the students. 5. MDM is checked by the Dietician of Health Department.

24 SSMC Meeting  The date of constitution of SSMC was 4.2.2010  The last meeting of SSMC held on 11.5.2010

25 GRIEVANCE REDREESSAL MECHANISM 0172- 5077699 1. To redress the grievances helpline no.0172- 5077699 has been introduced. 2. Regular review meetings for proper implementation and redressal of grievances, if any are undertaken at the level of Home-cum-Education Secretary.
