4 Contd.. Pre-requisite stepStatus Annual and Monthly data entry for the FY 2014-15 should be completed up to December 2014. Yes ATN on commitments given by the State Govt. during PAB Meeting of 2014-15. No ATN on findings of reports of MI No Plan should be submitted within the scheduled date in hard and soft copies both. Late by one week because approval of SLSMC was not received.

5 Issues  Only two meetings of SLSMC  No meeting of District Level Committee  Delay in the release of funds.  Food is not tested (Nearest NABL Lab is 200 kms away)

6 Findings of the Monitoring Institute  No discrimination was noticed  All enrolled children do not take mid day meal.  Buffer stock of food grains available in visited schools  Food grains, Fresh vegetables, condiments and fruits delivered up to school.  Adequate utensil were found in 37 visited schools  All the visited schools had LPG connection..

7 Contd……  Water purifying system installed in some schools  Quality of vegetables needs to be checked before allotting them to schools  Absence of social audit was also noticed  Cook-cum-helpers in one visited school was paid honorarium @ Rs. 750/-..  MDM logo was not displayed in most of the schools.

8 Best Practices  Banana (150 gms) and One Egg served for three days each during the week. along with 9 gms of salad daily.  Higher contributions by UT in cooking cost.  E-payment in the bank account of all CCH and FCI  Social Audit by Mahilla Mandal and Lioness Club...  Hand wash with soap by children before meals.  Tithi Bhojan introduced  Teachers trained to screen children with refractive error.  LPG in all Schools
