2. CLASS REQUIREMENTS Exploration of Marketing Occupation Personal Finance will equip you to plan and manage your financial affairs. You’ll focus on developing practical methods for organizing your financial information, interpreting your personal financial position and cash flow, setting achievable and worthwhile goals, and implementing actionable plans and risk management techniques to meet those goals. More specifically, you will study consumer credit, taxes and the IRS, housing options, strategies for making major purchases, money management, insurance, and investing. Every nine weeks we will cover at least 2 or maybe 3 Chapters from the text book. Every nine week grading period students will have to do a project which will be due at the end of the nine week grading period. This will start from the 2 nd nine week grading period all the way up to the 4 th nine week grading period. Students will have at least 7 weeks to complete the project that will be assigned during that nine week grading period. Grading Scale. 5. TESTING DATES Every nine week grading period I will administer 4 Quizzes and 2 Tests. These quizzes and Tests will all come from the text book. I will give the students a Review Sheet which I will post up on Edmodo or on my Slam Web page from school. This will assist and help students to better prepare for their Quizzes and Tests.
