Your group will have to see how each animal defends itself and what offensive capabilities they have. This will help you see how well these animals would do in a fight. Also you need to learn about the animal’s diet and sleeping pattern. The diet will be useful because you need to know what the animal eats so when you choose what hero you want to be you will not starve. The sleeping pattern will be useful to know because some animals are active during the day and some during the night. It will help out if you are a day or night person. Also you will need to find out at least two more interesting facts about each animal to help you decide and once you do make a decision you will need to say why you choose that hero.

First I will use a different rubric scale to take in their special needs. Also I will make the groups such that they will receive a role that suits the student’s special needs. Next I will make sure that during the assignment the student will receive any help they need. It might be more detailed description of the assignment or help finding the information they need to collect to complete the assignment. My lesson plan is student centered. Also it does not centered around the student just researching information, but instead is trying to get the student to critically think about the information they found and make a decision using that information. The assignment is to have the students think for themselves and come up with reasons why they would choose that particular superhero. By choosing a superhero it gets the students attention and when students are involved with something they enjoy it does not seem like learning. The websites that I gave the students to start out with in there research are well organized and have information that will help them. These websites are starting places where they will need to figure out for them selves to find more information that will help them think about what is good information and what is bad information.
