2 Student Page Title Introduction Task Process Evaluation Conclusion Credits [Teacher Page] Using creative writing and well planned research, you are going to try to convince your parents that you deserve a puppy! This project will use online resources to help you decide your breed. From there, you will be completing some creative writing process to make claim to your statement of “why I deserve a puppy”. This will be in the forms of letters, brochures and great planning of the puppy you choose and why. If you really want this puppy, your going to have to do your homework to make sure you are prepared to convince your parents that you are ready and responsible.Introduction

Without your parents’ permission you will not be able to accomplish your goal. In order to get your parents on board you will need to convince them that you are ready to handle the responsibility of being the owner of an animal as needy and complex as a dog. 1.Make a first draft of your letter to your parents 2.Have teacher look over the draft and give you feedback and changes to make 3.Check after any changes are made to see if you have included everything that you need to convince your parents that you are ready to handle the responsibility 4.Make a final draft 5.With permission you can begin researching how to get a dog, which breed you would be interested in, and learn to create a schedule which will allow you to care for a dog. To show your family that you really want a puppy, you’re going to want to do your research to show them you are serious. This brochure will give show and explain why you want a dog, what kind of dog you want and what kind of care your dog will need. Puppies need a lot of tender love and care! It is a big job to take care of puppies. When looking to buy a puppy or having just bought one, it is always a good idea to see what kind of care puppies will need. After researching what kind of care your puppy will need, you will want to make a daily schedule of what you will do for your puppy and at what time with detailed instructions. This way you can show how responsible you will be in caring for your puppy! 2. To research what kind of care your puppy will need, you will have to take the breed you chose in task #1 on picking a breed and making a brochure, and see what kind of care that puppy takes!
