5 Responsibilities of the DGs  Attend the Orientation program by RILM  Appoint: District Literacy Committee Chair (DLCC) District Literacy Committees for T-E-A-C-H, Volunteer Management, Fund Raising and Communication.  Ensure Level I Training Program with the District and ZLCs

6 Responsibilities of the DGs  Ensure Level II training program by the DLCC by 31st May each year and attended by the Club Literacy Committees.  Ensure Level III training program (District Literacy Seminar) by the DLCC during the due period (15th May – 31st August each year).  Raise per capita contribution from each Rotary Club member in a District by 30 th September.

7 Responsibilities of the DGs  Fund Raising: Assist National Fund Raising Committee in raising Retail Donations 40% of these Funds to be retained by District for T-E-A-C- H implementation  Set goals and confirm with Clubs  Motivate Clubs to achieve goals

8 Responsibilities of DGs  Through Governor’s Monthly Letter publicize RILM.  Sessions on RILM at AGTs, PETs, GETs, District Assembly, District Conference.  Keep in touch with RILM and ZLCs regularly.

9 Responsibilities of DLCCs  Attend Orientation Program and Literacy Summit.  Appoint District Committees before Level I Training Program.  Assist ZLC, DG/DGE in organizing and conducting Level I Training Program.  Appointment of CPs, CLCCs before Level II Training Program.

10 Responsibilities of DLCCs  Assist DG/DGE in organizing, conducting and requisite participation in: Level II Training Program Level III Training Program  At Level II Training Program, ensuring filling of Club Goal forms  Compile District Goals and upload to website

11 Responsibilities of DLCCs  Participation of IWCs, Rotaractors and RCCs members in District/Club level training  Encourage and motivate clubs to: Fill in Grant Applications Upload Projects after completion

12 Responsibilities of DLCCs Organize events to publicize T-E-A-C-H achievements Mobilise funds Familiarize with www.rotaryteach.org

13 Responsibilities of DLCCs  Help solve problems for District and Club Program Committees  Ensure District Goals are achieved  Prepare and furnish annual, quarterly and other reports
