4 Goal We will discuss and identify the elements which create a culture for learning.

5 The Joy of Six Activity Please open your envelope and read the sentence inside. Then find other people who have the same sentence and form a group.

6 1.How does it feel to not be accepted into a group or team? Is it intentional? 2.How did it feel when you found someone with the same sentence? 3.What lessons does this have for team building? 4.Why didn’t those persons already in a team reach out to the excluded persons? The Joy of Six Activity

8 Discussion Question Based on the preparation of the two lists, what issues do you believe we should specifically address in this workshop? TIP: Develop a list of 7 do’s and 7 don’ts and distribute copies later.

11 Vignettes Please read the vignettes with your partner and brainstorm strategies together. Then we will discuss strategies to address some of these issues.
