2 Research Questions Big Picture Question How do people react to confrontation? Specific Question Will nationality (Korean or American) decide how passive or aggressive high school students would react to being accused of stealing a phone that we provide to them?

3 Hypothesis Most of the students in Korea will act passively and try to mediate in order to preserve their relationships while most of the students in the United States will go through all of the stages of dealing with conflict.

9 Conclusion The results contradicted our hypothesis with Americans reacting more passively compared to Koreans.
