3  Is an amateur rather than a ‘community’ choir  Started from a group of 6 people in 2002  10 years later is 10 times larger  Has a diverse repertoire - which has grown to include more, and more challenging, pieces The Pakefield Singers The Pakefield Singers Context  And has changed colour..

6 The Choir – a motley crew? The Choir – a motley crew? Context  Some have been members since the Choir began  Some joined later and others only recently  Some have a lot of experience both of singing and of being in choirs  Some have less, and some have none  Some can read music, some can’t  Some can sight-sing, some can’t  Most may be somewhere in-between
