2. There are two simple ways of accessing Delta State University Web Mail. Accessing WebMail Gaining access through the Delta State webpage. Type the following in the address bar of your browser: http://webmail.deltastate.edu. http://webmail.deltastate.edu

3. Got to the Delta State webpage and click on myDSU

4. Click on Webmail link

5. Insert network user name and password

6. Or type in http://webmail.deltastate.edu http://webmail.deltastate.edu Then enter your network user name and password

7. Once logged in, your webmail should look like this.

8. Changing the Preview Pane

9. To adjust the Preview Screen click on the Show/Hide Reading Pane. The preview Screen can appear on the right….

11. Or you can hide the preview pane entirely.

12. WebMail Basics

13. The left side rail is broken into Folders and then specific folder categories. Folders offers the familiar Folder List option from Outlook, and all of the functions are the same.

14. The Contacts, Deleted Items, Drafts, Journal, Notes, Outbox, Sent Items, and Tasks folders operate the same as the Outlook.

15. The Options shortcut offers features normally available by selecting Tools, Options in the Outlook Client. Public Folders will launch a separate window using a more primitive form of outlook.

16. The Inbox (Messages) drop down menu above the toolbar is used to change or filter what messages appear in the inbox.

17. Because this is a Web Access e-mail, you won’t see your changes right away. To see your changes, you’ll have to click-on the refresh button on the browser toolbar.

18. To log off simply click on the log off button on the toolbar.
