The organisms involved include… Bacteria (plague, tuberculosis and anthrax) Protozoa (malaria, sleeping sickness and toxoplasmosis) Fungi (ringworm, candidiasis or histoplasmosis) Viruses (influenza, yellow fever or AIDS)*
