DVFS Overview : What is DVFS ? : DVFS stands for Dynamic Voltage Frequency Scaling This feature gives the ability to MCU or DSP ( or both ) to upscale core frequency when more MIPS are required ( and to downscale accordingly) MCU in normal mode is running out of the MCU PLL @ 399.1 MHz and switching to TPLL @ 532 MHz in Turbo mode DSP, in normal mode, is running out of the DSP PLL @208Mhz and this PLL frequency is upscaled to 250 Mhz in Turbo Mode. Argon Core voltage is switching between normal and turbo mode settings ( 1.2 – 1.6 V).
