7 Algebra 2 Zero Hour Elective Class  Taken concurrently with Geometry  Students would have TWO daily assignments (there is time between zero hour and first period to work on one of the assignments)  Students must have their own transportation  Class meets daily from 7:30 – 8:45 a.m.  Taking Algebra 2 in junior high allows students to more easily access the advanced math classes offered at Chandler high schools.

18 FAQ’s  Will my child have classes with students outside the CATS program?  Will my child meet new students in jr. high CATS or be with the same group they have been with in elementary?  How much homework is there in 7/8 CATS?  Lunch?  Are there sports offered at SJHS?  Are all students eligible for Algebra 2, and will it be awarded high school credit?  How does CATS help my child transition into honors and AP courses in high school?  What clubs are available that my child might enjoy?
